New York’s Tiffany Studios Decorated Favrile Glass Vase

This decorated Favrile glass vase, from Tiffany Studios New York, was a work of Louis Comfort Tiffany. The glass vase, with it’s earthy green background and red clay-colored decoration, has a subdued feel, despite the intricacy and excitement of its decorative motifs. Red and white feathering swirls interplay with each other dynamically, accenting the undulating form of the vase itself.
